NAICU and the Council of Independent Colleges have launched "Building Blocks to 2020," recognizing and encouraging private college and university efforts to help the nation reach President Obama's 2020 college education goal. Saint John's University President Dietrich Reinhart announces resignation

News Release

October 16, 2008

Br. Dietrich Reinhart, OSB, president of Saint John's University (Minn.) since 1991, has announced his decision to resign as president to focus more fully on his health, having recently been diagnosed with melanoma. Reinhart's resignation will take effect upon the appointment of an interim president for the University.
