Christian Brothers University president Malham killed in car wreck
May 5, 2008
Brother Vincent Malham, president of Christian Brothers University, was killed Friday afternoon in an automobile collision in Louisiana. "Shock is a mild word for my feelings as I realize that the church in Memphis as well as the community at Christian Brothers University has lost a great president," said Bishop J. Terry Steib of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. Malham, 73, joined the university as president in 2005 after serving in the Middle East as president of Bethlehem University.
