Free Webinars Offer Guidance on Campus Sustainability Strategies

The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) regularly offers free webinars to help campuses set goals and develop strategies related to campus sustainability.

In the coming weeks, there are two webinars that will highlight sustainability efforts taking place at private, nonprofit colleges and universities:

Beyond Diversion: Qualitative Data to Measure Zero Waste Efforts
May 23, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. EDT (Register)
Participants will discuss how to help campuses set realistic zero waste goals by exploring a more holistic approach to measuring waste reduction efforts that goes beyond diversion.
 
Grappling with Climate Uncertainties: MIT’s Resiliency Approach
May 30, 3:00-4:00 p.m. EDT (Register)
Participants will present methods MIT is using to engage research and operational experts in charting a climate-resilient future.

According to AASHE, anyone is eligible to participate in the live webinars.  However, only AASHE members will have access to the webinar archive after the live presentations. 

NAICU is a member of the Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium (HEASC), which is a network of higher education associations with a commitment to advancing sustainability. AASHE serves as the coordinating body for HEASC.
