New Department of Ed Guidance on Sexual Harassment

NAICU Washington Update

The Department of Education has issued detailed new guidance regarding Title IX requirements related to the prevention of sexual harassment on college campuses. The guidance was announced by Vice President Joseph Biden and Education Secretary Arne Duncan during their joint appearance at the University of New Hampshire. The 19-page guidance letter offers detailed instructions to colleges regarding enforcement procedures. It also discusses education and prevention efforts.
