Institutional Examples:Links to Fact Books and Quick Facts

Many colleges and universities provide detailed information on their mission, students, faculty, finances, tuition, graduates, and much more through "fact books."  These data-rich documents often are available on the Web, in other cases as publications, and offer an easily-accessible overview of an institution for prospective students, donors, and others.  For examples, visit Baylor University, Bates College, Skidmore College, or any of the other institutions listed below.

For the essence of a college or university, "quick facts" offer a statistical snapshot for those who don't need the detail provided in the more definitive fact book.  (See, for example, Hollins College, Juniata College or Earlham College.) Most institutions provide some version of this kind of brief information on their site.
