Walter Pearson writes: The outlook is grim for most of higher education. We will have rising demand until 2025 and the numbers beyond will pose major challenges. Across most of the U.S., we are projected to have 450,000 fewer students in the years beyond 2025. This will mean 25,000 fewer faculty positions.
