Derek Newton writes: With unemployment at a 10-year low (3.9% in April, 2018), and even better employment statistics for college graduates (2.1% unemployment rate for those with at least a bachelor’s degree versus 4.3% for those with no college in April, 2018), it’s difficult to understand the argument that college isn’t preparing students for jobs.
