The value of a college education is coming under more scrutiny these days as students struggle to repay often onerous student loans. But there’s also little question that education pays – and pays well. Federal wage data bears that out. As workers obtain more advanced degrees, their annual earnings increase substantially. And the workers with the least amount of formal education earn far less than the average worker.
