Washington & Lee University Raises $542.5 Million

Riley Garcia is a sophomore at Washington and Lee University. She and other students celebrated the school's end to a seven-year fundraising campaign, where they raised $542.5 million. The money will go towards faculty raises, learning programs, renovations and construction, and scholarships and financial aid.
