Alverno College Names St. Catherine University Leader as Next President

The longtime president of a university with the nation's largest Catholic college for women has been tapped to become the eighth president of Alverno College.  Sister Andrea Lee, president of St. Catherine University in Minneapolis-St. Paul for nearly two decades, will transition to her new role as Alverno's president over the summer.  Current Alverno College President Mary Meehan, 66, announced last year that the timing was right for her to step down. Meehan has been Alverno's president since May 2004.
