Northwestern University opening more doors to community college students

It's rare for community college students to transfer to elite Northwestern University — and only a handful have made the switch from the City Colleges of Chicago to the university's full-time undergraduate program in the past decade. But that could change under a new scholarship program to be announced Thursday.
