Private College Presidents Talk Cost, Challenges at Higher Ed Forum

Is college worth it? The presidents of six private North Carolina colleges say it is. Their biggest challenge is keeping it affordable to the middle class.  Richard Brodhead, president of Duke University and five other college presidents — from Bennett, Davidson, Elon, Guilford and Wake Forest — took the stage at the Carolina Theatre on Monday night to talk about private higher education.
