RIT to Break New Ground with Video Game

Rochester Institute of Technology (NY) is breaking new ground in the video game industry with a project students produced at the RIT Center for Media, Arts, Games, Interaction and Creativity.  RIT is slated to become the first university to publish a video game on the Xbox One gaming platform when Hack, Slash & Backstab is launched at noon Wednesday, university officials said. The game was produced in residence at RIT in a studio course offered through the School of Interactive Games and Media and the MAGIC Center.
