St. Bonaventure Names Interim Head With ‘Intuitive Grasp’ of Its Spirit

Andrew Roth, former president of Notre Dame College (OH) near Cleveland, will serve as interim president of St. Bonaventure University (NY) while a search continues for a permanent successor to Sister Margaret Carney, who will retire on July 31.  St. Bonaventure University Board of Trustees Chairman Robert Daugherty said in a statement Friday that Roth will take the reins from Carney on Aug. 1.  Roth, who will serve for the 2016-17 academic year, is not a candidate for the permanent post.
