University of Scranton's President Resigns

he new academic year at the University of Scranton will be the last for its 25th president.  On the same day that classes opened for the 2016-2017 school year, the Rev. Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., said Monday he will step down June 1 after six years as leader of the Jesuit university.  He will leave as the fifth longest-serving Jesuit president in the school’s history.
