DePaul University's New President Is Catholic School's 1st Non-Ordained Leader

DePaul University leaders named A. Gabriel Esteban the school's newest president, the first lay leader in the history of the 119-year-old Catholic university.  Esteban, originally from the Philippines, currently is president of Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Esteban becomes DePaul's 12th president, replacing the Rev. Dennis Holtschneider. He will formally assume the post July 1.
