Anti-Immigrant Posters Cause Stir at Gustavus Adolphus

The student organizations that posted anti-immigrant posters at Gustavus Adolphus College say they were intended only as a discussion starter.  But some detractors say the racist posters were inappropriate, regardless of their intention.
 
The posters appeared Monday morning at two academic halls. They were addressed to “white Americans” and said it is “your civic duty to report any and all illegal aliens.” The sign also included the message “America is a white nation.”
