Princeton Sues to Block Release of Records on Admissions Probe

Princeton University is asking a federal court to block the Education Department from releasing a trove of documents related to a closed federal civil rights investigation into its admissions practices.  The university filed the lawsuit against the department on Friday to thwart the efforts of Students for Fair Admissions, an organization that opposes race-based affirmative action, to obtain the documents under the Freedom of Information Act.
