Northwestern U Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Forms Union, Appeal in Progress

Part-time and full-time non-tenure-track faculty members at Northwestern University voted to form a union affiliated with Service Employees International Union, the union announced Tuesday. The vote took place last year, but a key group of contested ballots were not opened until earlier this month. A local National Labor Relations Board office certified the union last week.
