Bennett Names Phyllis Worthy Dawkins School's 18th President

Bennett College has named Phyllis Worthy Dawkins the school's 18th president.  She served as interim president since August 2016, when Rosalind Fuse-Hall resigned.  Dawkins arrived at Bennett in December 2015 as the school's provost after serving as interim president at Cheyney University, a black college outside of Philadelphia, Pa., the school said Wednesday in a news release announcing Dawkins as president.
