St. John’s Launches Scholarship for Kids of Uniformed Heroes

St. John’s University (NY) is launching a new scholarship program to honor America’s heroes in uniform — by offering their children a new $2,000 annual scholarship.  The St. John’s Service Scholarship Awards will be open to sons and daughters of military officers as well as police and firefighters nationwide.  It will cover students of active service officers, retirees and those who died in the line of duty.
