5 Charter Schools Will Transfer to Erskine's Charter Institute

After a six-hour meeting, South Carolina’s Public Charter School District board approved requests from five of its schools to transfer to Erskine College’s (SC) Charter Institute.  This summer, Erskine became the only other charter school authorizer in the state outside of the charter district and local, public school districts. Nine schools presented the charter district’s board requests to transfer to Erskine Thursday, and four were denied.
