Simpson College: Families Call the Simpson Promise of Free Tuition 'Life-Changing'

Game-changing. Life-changing.  These are some of the phrases Simpson College's admission office has been hearing in the past month, said Jill Johnson, the college's vice president for marketing and public relations. 
Simpson made headlines when officials announced details of what's widely known as the Simpson Promise in early November.  The college said they would cover full tuition for Iowa high school graduates whose families had an adjusted gross income of $60,000 or less in 2016. Tuition at Simpson this year is $38,412.
