Gregory J. Vincent, Embattled President of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Resigns

The president of Hobart William Smith Colleges (NY) has resigned.  According to a news release from the colleges, Gregory J. Vincent announced to the Board of Trustees that he is "resigning his position of president effective immediately." The move comes less than a month after an anonymous email to several publications accused Vincent of plagiarizing part of his doctorate dissertation at the University of Pennsylvania. Vincent has denied the claims.
