Hiram College Receives $6 Million Gift for New Liberal Arts Initiative

Hiram College (OH) has received a $6 million gift from retired Avery Dennison Corp. CEO Dean Scarborough, an alumnus and chairman of the board of trustees, and his wife, Janice Bini. The multi-year gift, the largest in the school's 168-year history, will advance a new liberal arts initiative that includes internships, study-abroad programs, science and health initiatives and Tech and Trek, a program that merges classroom learning with mobile technology.
