St. Anselm College Eliminates Staff Amid Financial Difficulties

Saint Anselm College (NH)  laid off 13 people this week in an effort to address what it referred to as “upcoming financial challenges” in a “rapidly changing climate and marketplace in higher education.”  In a written statement, the college announced that the layoffs were the end result of “a strategic and stringent financial review, encompassing policies, programs, and positions” performed in coordination with the institution’s board of trustees.
