Roger Williams University President Dies

Roger Williams University (RI) President Donald J. Farish died Thursday at a Boston hospital after a sudden illness, the university announced on its website and in an email. The news came as a shock to the university community. In May, Farish, 75, had announced his plan to retire in June 2019, and the university’s Board of Trustees and Cabinet said it would hire a search firm and launch a national search for a successor.
