College of the Ozarks Backs Bill Allowing Private Colleges to Have Campus Police Departments

Private colleges and universities will be allowed to create their own police departments, if Missouri lawmakers pass a proposed bill.  Leaders at College of the Ozarks (MO) support the proposed legislation, saying the change would only enhance student safety.
