He's Young, and With No Academic Experience, But Ready to Lead Hope College

Less than two decades after he graduated from Hope, located in the Lake Michigan lakeshore town of Holland, Scogin is back at Hope in a move he didn't see coming. The 39-year-old is now Hope's president, in charge of leading the private liberal-arts college with roots in the Reformed Church in America into the uncertainty of higher education in the current time.
