Oberlin Showed Bias Against Male Student Expelled After Dorm Room Sex, Court Rules

A federal appeals court for the second time since 2018 ruled Monday that an Ohio college discriminated against a male student accused of sexual misconduct. In a 2-1 vote, a panel at the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Cincinnati said Oberlin College showed bias against a male student who was expelled in 2016 when disciplinary proceedings concluded he had violated the school’s sexual assault policy.
