Mayor Pete Joins the Faculty

Despite his newfound political celebrity, Buttigieg for now is sticking close to home. He was recently named a faculty fellow for the upcoming year at the University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Advanced Study, where he will work on a pair of research projects that explore the forces shaping the 2020s and how to restore trust in political institutions. Buttigieg will also be teaching an interdisciplinary undergraduate course on the importance of trust.
