Hiram President David Haney Announces Retirement

David P. Haney, Ph.D., is stepping down from his position as president of Hiram College and retiring, effective June 30, 2023. Dr. Haney served as interim president beginning in fall 2020 and was appointed president in June 2021.  Rob Bohrer, Ph.D., vice president for academic and student affairs and dean of the College, has been named acting president of the College, and will play a key role in day-to-day decision-making until a new president is named.
