In the Wake of Sexual Assault Lawsuit, St. Lawrence University Wrestles With Its Title IX Process, Again

It’s been a hard semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton. The campus has been reeling from news of a sexual assault case. An anonymous female assistant professor accused a male assistant professor of drugging and violently raping her during a work meeting at his house. The woman is also suing the university, arguing it mishandled her sexual assault investigation. The suit seeks a jury trial and monetary damages. The village of Canton police have also been investigating the incident.
