Round-up: Campus Chaos Continues Over Israel-Hamas Conflict - April 30

Chaos continues at college campuses across the country as students continue to protest over the Israel-Hamas conflict and the fate of Palestinians in Gaza.

Protesters at Columbia University broke into and took over Hamilton Hall overnight, reportedly blocking several maintenance workers from leaving.

At Northwestern University, administrators and pro-Palestinian demonstrators reached agreement Monday afternoon to end the encampment after a days-long protest.  The agreement requires the removal of all tents and unapproved loudspeakers from the Deering Meadow and states that all demonstrators must comply with university policies. In exchange, the university will allow peaceful demonstrations to continue on the meadow through June 1, which marks the end of spring quarter classes.
