Comment Period on Student Loan Provisions Now Open. The Department of Education released the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for the new student loan provisions negotiated through the Reimagining and Improving Student Education (RISE) committee last year. NAICU will be submitting comments on this NPRM, and encourages any other interested parties to do so a well. Comments are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on March 2, 2026.
