NAICU Nominees Named to Negotiated Rulemaking Committees

Starting later this month, the Department of Education will be hosting a series of negotiated rulemaking panels on financial responsibility standards, borrower defense to repayment, and gainful employment.  Additionally, the Department has selected three nominees submitted by NAICU to serve on the upcoming panels.
 
The selected nominees are as follows:

• Subcommittee on Financial Responsibility (subsidiary of Borrower Defense to Repayment committee):
  • John Palmucci, Vice President for Finance and Treasurer, Emeritus, Loyola University of Maryland, and member of the NAICU Financial Responsibility Task Force, primary negotiator.
• Gainful Employment:
  • Todd Jones, Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio, primary negotiator.
  • Tim Powers, NAICU, alternate negotiator.
