Website Accessibility Proposed Rulemaking Issued

The Department of Justice issued a Supplemental Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to solicit additional comments on the 2010 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding nondiscrimination on the basis of disability and accessibility of web information. The Department wants to establish specific technical requirements on website accessibility. Comments are due August 8, 2016.

After analyzing the complex regulations, NAICU will be working with the higher education community on comments.
