Education Groups Urge Congress to Act on Net Neutrality

Groups representing K-12 schools, educational technology providers and research libraries are urging Congress to support a resolution led by Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) to reinstate net neutrality rules. Net neutrality regulations were repealed by the Republican-controlled Federal Communications Commission in December, amid concerns from education advocates that the use of technology in the classroom would suffer.
